Wise & Proper is the creative realization of Vancouver based local designer Elizabeth Law. Having traveled to many countries around the world from a very young age, her inspiration comes from endless sources. Traveling to Italy on buying trips and attending Fashion Week in Milan have been some of the most memorable highlights.

Desperately needing a creative outlet with her degree in business, her background in graphic arts, and her experience in the fashion industry, launching a new line was the only natural progression. Creating designs that are playful and subtly alluring with hints of romanticism is her vision for the line.

Wise & Proper in its seventh season promises to offer much excitement and freshness for the future. Her unique styling in cashmere sweaters have created attention amongst those who appreciate the luxuriousness that cashmere has to offer. She believes that cashmere should be enjoyed by everyone and therefore, has brought a more modern take on the styling in order to broaden its appeal.

The Fall/Winter 09 Collection is flirty, fun, yet sophisticated as in previous seasons.  Fine flowing chiffon and and soft jersey knit dresses create its romantic and playful feel.  Ultra-soft cashmere sweaters detailed with hand embroidery bring warmth in the colder months while keeping flattering silhouettes.
